Macam range of ultra violet radiometers is suited to a variety of applications from monitoring UV sources used in curing of adhesives and inks to exposure systems in semiconductor photolithography.

The radiometers are also suited to accurate measurements of PUVA and UVB irradiance in phototherapy cabinets used in the treatment of psoriasis.

The new UV202 dual detector radiometer has been designed to measure the output of ultra violet A and B from sun tanning sources.

UV201 Radiometer

The UV201 radiometer is typically used on high intensity sources to give fast and accurate measurements of UV irradiance in industrial applications.

An adaptor is also supplied to position over the detector the tip of a Series 300 liquid light guide from a spot curing source such as Macam's Flexicure.

A range of detectors covering bands in the ultra violet and blue regions of the spectrum are available for use with the UV201 radiometer.

UV202 Radiometer

The prolific use of sun tanning ultra violet sources has created the requirement for a radiometer that has the ability to measure the output from a variety of different sources and also indicate if there is an incorrect lamp fitted.

To achieve this the UV202 has different set of calibration factors for up to five types of tanning lamps. In addition the measuring probe has both a UVA and a narrow band UVB3 sensor within the probe. Selection between the two sensors and the lamp types is through the front panel key switches.

UV203 Radiometer

The versatile UV203 ultra-violet radiometer has a laboratory detector with up to three interchangeable filter rings covering selected bands of the ultra-violet spectrum.

The microprocessor control within the display unit features auto or manual ranging, RS232 communication to a PC and special functions for integrating the signal or recording the maximum, minimum and average signals.

The laboratory detector has an integral multiple gain range amplifier with signal digitising providing high sensitivity and low noise measurements.
